Arrow moccasin co - The Gloucester boat shoe
Black suede, oiled through rather than finished on the surface, so it darkens and picks up contrast with wear instead of just wearing thin. Built as a true moccasin, one piece of leather wrapped and hand-lasted around the foot, not built up in layers.
Lacing runs the full way around in rawhide, through brass eyelets, so the fit tightens exactly where it needs to, open across the vamp, adjustable at the instep. No lining inside, just leather against skin: it breaks in around your foot, not the other way round.
Wear it barefoot or with socks. It's meant to change shape. That's the whole idea.
